A plate is similar to a sheet but has a greater thickness, typically starting from 6mm (0.25 inches) and going up to several inches. Plates are commonly used in heavy-duty applications where strength and durability are required, such as in construction, shipbuilding, bridges, and pressure vessel manufacturing. Like sheets, plates are available in various materials and sizes.

Coils are continuous lengths of metal wound into a cylindrical shape. They are usually supplied in large rolls and can be made from various metals, including steel, aluminum, and copper. Coils are commonly used in industries like automotive, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), appliances, and electrical equipment manufacturing. They are often processed further to create sheets, strips, or other forms of metal products.
